Eponine

Eponine is the daughter of the Thenardiers. She is a young girl who is streetwise and tough, but also sensitive and lonely. She is in love with Marius, and knowing that he will never love her, she is very vulnerable when it comes to him. She bravely follows Marius to the barricades in the hope that they will die there together. Eponine is a tragic character, hopelessly in love with Marius.

Éponine est la fille des Thénardier. C'est une jeune fille streetwise et dure, mais aussi sensible et solitaire. Elle est amoureuse de Marius, et sachant qu'il ne l'aimera jamais, elle est très vulnérable face à lui. Elle suit courageusement Marius jusqu'aux barricades dans l'espoir qu'ils y mourront ensemble. Eponine est un personnage tragique, désespérément amoureux de Marius.

If you are interested in joining us, contact Emmanuel Ankri or Camille Audinot (you'll find our contacts in the "Contacts" section)

We'll firstly give you a folder with all the useful elements for your audition (lyrics of the imposed songs and audition's backing tracks)

Then, you'll be added to a group in which we'll communicate all the practical information concerning your audition (time and place).

Tu seras ensuite ajouté.e à un groupe dans lequel nous communiquerons toutes les informations pratiques concernant les auditions (la date et l'endroit).

SECOND STEP:

prepare your audition!

Here is what we'll ask you to do/ Voici ce qu'on te demande de faire:

1) Sing one song of the character you are interested in. Learn it and try to interpret it as your character would./ Chanter une chanson du personnage qui t'intérresse. Apprends-la et essaye de l'interpréter comme ton personnage le ferait.

For Eponine, we ask you to sing On my own./ Pour Eponine, nous te demandons de chanter On my own.

2) If you have a song you really want to show us, you can prepare one! We'll let you sing 30 secs/1 minute of your song./ Si tu as une chanson que tu veux vraiment nous montrer, tu peux en préparer une ! Nous te laisserons chanter 30 secondes/1 minute de cette chanson.

3) We'll also have an "interview" to see your experience and, before anything else, your motivation/ Nous ferons aussi un "entretien pour voir ton expérience et, avant toute chose, ta motivation
